Main Street Waterbury announces Michael Liam O'Connor as its 2021 Community Partnership Award Recipient.


This award celebrates the leadership and contributions of the late Stephen R. Sasala, former CEO of the Waterbury Regional Chamber and former president of MSW Board of Directors. It is presented to a commendable individual whose initiative, leadership, and personal commitment embody the spirit of partnership and community involvement.

Michael Liam O’Connor is the Waterbury Regional President and Director of Corporate Real Estate for Webster Bank.Webster Bank is a full-service commercial bank which holds the #2 market share of deposits in its core market Mike is responsible for market growth in all Webster's business segments in the Western Connecticut region.

Additionally, Mike is responsible for all aspects of Webster Bank’s corporate and retail real estate portfolio consisting of 180 buildings and approximately 1.3M square feet, including the purchase and sale of real property, site selection, occupancy planning, lease negotiations, lease administration, design and construction, sourcing, physical security, energy management and Webster’s sustainability program. Additionally, Mike is a retired U.S. Army Officer, having completed 15 deployments to Africa, Asia, Central America and Eastern Europe. Mike earned the Bronze Star Medal for action in 2004 while serving in combat in Afghanistan as a member of 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, Airborne. Mike is a member of the boards of the Waterbury YMCA, Palace Theater, Waterbury Development Corp, Waterbury Police Activities League and the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation.

Cigar Night 2022

The 2022 Perfecto Cigar Night will be announced shortly.  We  are looking forward to a small gathering outdoors that will adhere to all safety protocols set at that time during this COVID-19 pandemic.


 The Main Street Waterbury Perfecto Cigar Night is a chance to unwind with great friends, food and cigars.  


A good cigar is a best friend in your moments of reflection, a calming influence when the brain is frenzied. Good for the mind, and the soul and guaranteed to be a great night out under the spring air with a savored nightly smoke delivering  the mental tranquility that is absent from a long, hard day at work.   


Join us at La Bella Vista, hosted by The Smoke Easy Cigar Parlor with support from the Brass Mill Center and Nutmeg Fine Wines & Spirits.

Two (2) or more tickets at $75/ea
